Fokker TV Medium Bomber 1/48 scale
Fokker TV Medium Bomber 1/48 scale - The Fokker T.V was the only modern Dutch bomber in service at the start of World War Two. It first flew in 1938. Sixteen were ordered, but only nine were in service by the time of the German invasion. Some of these did not even have bomb racks in place. The TV’s were used for low level bombing and strafing attacks escorted by Fokker DXXI’s or Fokker G1s. Several heroic attempts were made to destroy bridges to stem the flow of Nazi forces. The servicable aircraft were on a par with anything else that European powers could put in the air. There were just too few of them to make a difference.

with internal details, engines and weapons bay.

This updated model contains parts for four skins. Two aircraft are depicted in pre war and neutrality markings.

Fairey Flycatcher - 48 scale
Fairey Flycatcher - 48 scale - The Fairey Flycatcher was conceived to fulfil specification 6/22 issued in 1922 for a deck landing single seat fighter to replace the ageing Nieuport Nightjar. The specification called for an aircraft which could operate as a landplane, seaplane or amphibian. The toughness and serviceability of the Flycatcher earned Fairey the contract. The Flycatcher had a mixed construction. The front of the fuselage was made of steel tube and aluminium. Traditional wood and fabric were used for wings, tail and aft of the cockpit. A "beautifully ugly" aircraft, the Flycatcher was stable in all axes, had a slow landing speed with excellent shock absorbing qualities because of its sturdy undercarriage. It's propeller could be set to create a "blue note" in a dive and gave the Flycatcher an unforgettable sound. Initial deck landing trials were conducted on HMS Argus in February 1923 and the behaviour of the aircraft was deemed to be exemplary. The Flycatcher saw service across the Empire in all theatres. The Flycatcher had superb flying characteristics which played a major part in its long and ubiquitous service. It was gradually replaced in 1932-4 by the Hawker Nimrod. A flying replica is housed at RAF Duxford Museum.

Pfalz Dr1 - The Pfalz Dr.I triplane was adapted from the Pfalz DVII biplane for entry in the First Fighter Competition at Adlershof in January 1918. Like the D.VII, it was powered by the Sh. III. The SH III engine was nearly twice as powerful as other single row rotary engines and its massive torque needed a strong airframe to soak up all the extra power.

The Pfalz DR1 kit has been mastered using 3d design software.  I'm very pleased with the final result and I'm sure you will be too.  You get two skins included in the kit for the prototype aircraft. I have retained the same style of layout with the kit and offered with it, as in all my kits, several alternative routes of completion. The model is offered in 1/32 scale and features completely redesigned Spandau machine guns and Siemens Halske SH III rotary engine.  The level of detail offered in this kit is on the very limit of what can be achieved with paper and is as close to scale as is physically possible in this medium.  The cockpit also includes a seat, pedals, instruments and a control column.  I  have included enough detail so that anyone wanting to use an A3 printer to get to 1/16th scale can do so easily just

I have also set up the model on US letter format (8.5 inch x 11 inch) and European A4 (210 x 297mm) standards.  Both formats are bundled in the kit package, so just print the one you can most easily get paper for.
